My Name is Amanda

Hi! I am a writer, creative soul, military spouse, mother, and communications strategist in the healthcare industry. I'm a social butterfly who loves spending time with friends. I have a million hobbies. I listen to jazz music and drink dry red wine when I cook. I love traveling, scuba diving, karaoke and cuddling with my dog.

We live in Minnesota. My husband Luke and I were high school sweethearts. We've been married more than 20 years. We have three unique beautiful children and a rescue dog named Jack. Noah is our oldest, Ashlyn is the mighty middle, and Lucinda is the baby. We call ourselves a "five family." 

On April 17, 2015, Luke, Noah and Ashlyn were in a near-fatal car accident. Miraculously, everyone survived. At the time of the accident, I was 37 weeks pregnant with Lucinda and we were preparing for Luke's deployment to Iraq. Throughout all of this, we journeyed from despair to hope to joy. We found our Happy Drops.
